I do indeed miss many things from Ager Bet
One thing I do not miss is the chiQa.
My Grandmothers house was in GuLe’le.
The little road from the main road to her house was Koro’Konch
Therefore, in the winter there was a lot of ChiQa.
Thus, I was forced to wear a Booati.
I didn’t like to go to my grandmothers house.
She thought it was because of the Serategna.
No, it was the ChiQa.
but I did like going to Bole,
most of the roads were asphalts.
There was not that much ChiQa
Anyways thank God for America!

Gulele has asphalt now. It is not ChiQa anymore but the Gulite is still there

Funny. I lived in Guilele too but i loved chiqa and shertatey. I use to love bokolo tibse from the guilites(plural of guilite), damn it was good.

along w/ “Mad Bet” chiss, playing biye as ena buying suger in coned paper (if you know the techniques you can get away w/ “meqam” w/o mommy finding out
