I think resolutions, you know the self-pledges millions of us TRY to keep every year, are bull-shit!
Each years beginning, we pledge: ‘This year I will try to lose weight, start exercising, go back to school, pay down a debt, move to New York and become a model.‘ Then we also remember the resolutions of the past year: Try lose weight, start exercising, go back to school, pay down a debt, move to New York and become a model.
Like clock work, we begin the cycle & set ourselves for yet another chance at failure and we, inexplicably, postpone the latest version of our resolution until the actual New Year – per the “rules” I guess. Whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish, can’t be done the rest of the 364 days, so you try to wait till midnight of the 365th. Then you start, and go do it for a week, or a month or even a few months and eventually stop.
Try again next year, sucker!”
Don’t you realize this is just an exercise in futility? As the saying goes, don’t do the same things & expect different results. So why do we persist?
I suggest you stop making these emotionally driven resolutions & you won’t have to worry about keeping them! But if you must have one then start with Accountability & everything will follow.
Accountability
If you can’t even be accountable for the goals you set for yourself and the tasks you “promised” be’awage to complete, then you really have nothing at all. Hey, I am no better than you, but at least I stopped talking. I stopped saying I will do this and that before I even start or think about starting. Wo’rae, followed by ne’gae arege’walehu, no more.
Accountability will get you respect, freedom, a sense of accomplishments, blah blah.
A good friend of mine told me, he started reading a book on ‘How to say NO.’ A great guy – likes to help people, considerate, nice, very smart and humble, but he has never been accountable for the things he says and promises he will do. Mostly because he is always over extending himself. The number of things he has to carry out, be it for work, friends or family are just way too overwhelming.
I didn’t check on how the book of ‘NO‘ is helping so far, but I think that is where accountability starts, saying you can’t do what you can’t do. Limiting the things you say you will do and being realistic. You are half way there!
The second part of saying no is not talking shit. Uh hmm, bakeh he is BS’ing. Be it at your work or in your personal life, there is always that bona-fide BSer somewhere, ya know?
Let’s do this, I’ll take care of it, I have a business idea blah blah blah…”
Shut up would you!, Feel free to bullshit yourself but not me. Don’t worry though, I won’t expect shit from you.
Accountable people are given tasks and/or projects once and they are not asked about it again. Because everyone knows their track record & that when the time comes, they will deliver. We don’t need to continually watch over their back to make sure things are done. Thus, those are the people that are trusted enough to get promoted; chosen to become business partners and even valued as friends.
Now that you have learned to say’NO‘ and have stopped talking’BS,’ lets tackle the grueling tasks of actually following through on your commitment. Action is the magic word here folks.
Our capability to accomplish a certain undertaking generally hasn’t been in question. The real problem is the want and need! How badly do you WANT to lose that weight? How consistently are you going to get up at 6 AM for that two- mile run you said you will start next week?
I want to start a business, and I have an idea, it is going to take this much capital.”
You really want to, you are capable of it, but you haven’t done anything about it. Some would say that is because you are lazy, lack motivation, etc blah blah blah… those things that teachers say about kids that never do their homework. I disagree; I think two things stop us from doing the thing we really want to do.
Fear of failure
In essence, it comprises of three components. The first is our natural desire to avoid letting ourselves or others down. The second is the exposure of that ‘possible‘ failure to the outside world. Third and most importantly, it’s the uncertainty, fear of the unknown that prevents us from taking action. So we are left with, endae ayito’cha’chin “ya’nae enda’sebkut en’dih adrgae behon noro…“ you fill in the rest.
Lack of confidence
Confidence in oneself is a must. With out it, nothing can be accomplished and all that remain are what-ifs. You must have self confidence and an unshakeable belief it can be done and that you are the one to do it.
Ye’zarae abebawoch, ye’nege frewoch, ye’zarae lesson: Behavioral change requires, accountability, commitment, & sustained effort. Not an arbitrarily set schedule & midnight resolution – especially not an alcohol induced one.

Ever wondered why the ‘feebleminded‘ child programs the VCR while the ‘wiser‘ father, with all the knowledge & experience, sits there scratching his head? The reason is simple – the child has no idea what he/she is not able to do, so they just do it; try that is. Hence, let us resolve not to make any more New Year’s Resolutions. Instead, aim to to — Just Do It!
Today, now, this minute; take the first step, then the second. In my humble opinion planning out an agenda on a project plan or an overall direction is somewhat overrated, because a long mapped out plan doesn’t take account of variables (stumbling blocks) and that it lacks dynamicity. Not to mention the fact that project planning is a project on its own.

Mr. Nolawi I bow down to thee. You have given us another version of “They Say” I love it. Ok time to print this one out too. Damn you can preach it brotha!
What a nice read and how true it is….we tend to fool ourselves on what we say and what we actually do. Just do it godnabit.
Ahhhh I love this Article, just love it!
In my opinion, if anybody wants to overcome anything, they should cultivate their will power and not reformulate their approach to overcoming their goal.
Cuz it don’t matter if you change the cover if the book is still the same!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, i believe if anybody decides to do anything, regardless of the time (new year or not) present or future, it all depends on their WILL POWER. They ought to re-evaluate themselves everytime their decision making fails as opposed to doubting their resolution OR approach.
Though i am a fan of the perception you bring forth (namely ‘just do it!’), i can not but bring mine to the table to widen this concept because you and I both know the world could benefit from better decision making people. Given that i fall under people with insufficient amount of Will power, i, alone, can attest for all the good things i could have contributed all instead of just letting them pass me by.
PEACE OUT!!!!!!!!!!
yes noteworthy indeed…
nolawi…this is a fantastic article, great job! — some of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt this past year’re exactly what u’re talking about! and i’m sure i’ll continue learning them throughout life.
lemmi say this…remember ur plan to write a book? how bout one with ^ & ‘they say’ topics? – u have a way of keeping it practical, simple and applicable
nolawi i really liked this one!
please let all of us not make resolutions just only for wasting papers it is much better for the papers to be used for writing articles such us this
any ways happy millennium season for all
Nolawi, hope you practice what you preach…….
Great read…
You are absolutely right about this, no need to wait for a new year to do whatch you wanna do.
Nothing should stop you from trying, if you fail, try again…and keep trying!
Nolawi, hope you practice what you preach…….
i would hope that i am not preaching too much … but on the real, like I said, i have learned to say no, and never talk about things that i plan to do and not do them… meaning decreased talking before any action….
i am half way there !!
Alright,
knives have been sharpened. Here we go:
By definition, accountable people are regularly checked upon. That’s what makes them accountable.
I’d like to know where you were able to find a list of our natural desires and how you were able to verify they’re so. Just saying something is a natural desire doesnt make it so. I’m not sure I want to avoid letting myself or others down.
So, the child programs the VCR while the father scratches his head? Primo, why is itnot the mother that scratches her head? Secundo, is there any truth to this statement? conventional wisdom would suggest the person with the most experience at programming electronics, probably but not necessarily the parent, would be better at programming the VCR. Third, since I dont know how to say that in Italian, the advantage the child has is that they dont think they cant do it. So if the parent already thinks they cant do it, why would they be there scratching their head? skip the scratching and let someone else do it.
And then, I’d like to get help squaring these together:
So here is where I’m confused, I have a natural desire to avoid saying no to others. Yet, that’s exactly what I should do, lest I overextend myself. And I dont want to overextend myself just to avoid not being confident; Because all it takes is for me to be confident and believe I’m the man for the job and I could have done whatever it is I’m saying no to, yet I dont do it.
I think what’s statements not borne out by fact and are weakest links here are:
– The natural desire to avoid letting some down.
– That confidence gets anything done.
I am afraid I’m not going to think highly of this article. It is not supported by actual observations. I’m not trying to spread hate!
DDD
Getu, I’m kinda lost in your comment but as to the the following quote:
… since I dont know how to say that in Italian,
Getu, even a layman can take two different sentences and put them out of their context and try to discredit it… I suggest you come at me better than that, if that is your intent!
good luck…
what i am saying is don’t make promises you can’t keep, be confident… now who would disagree with that!
yeah this is simple … getu, what is freaking ‘confusing’ about the message. all it said is don’t just talk do it !! is that hard to grasp? i don’t think so
Preach on Noli!!
It is a very nice read and very much needed to be discussed openly!!
Thanks.
abet abet, this article sounds like you are making excuse so you don’t have to start your own emotional resolution.
I believe everyone needs some sort of resolution. it doesn’t matter whether its at the beginning of the year or not, you set a resolution to tell yourself what you need to complete for the year that is a head of you whenever you plan to finish it. even if you don’t finish it, its ok because you have acknowledged or recognized that you need to change some part of your life or lifestyle in order to make yourself better or improved. if you plan not to have a resolution then you might as well just live day to day and not accomplish your goals.
A resolution often isn’t not completed because of various complication, however, it doesn’t mean that you should try to avoid it.
Like you said, JUST DO IT
Kebrit, I believe Nolawi’s message was, have a resolution but don’t talk about it a lot because you might not do it and you come out looking like talk becha no delivery so just keep it to yourself and do it!!
Nolawi, correct me if I am wrong.
right sky,
kebrit, why do people come up with nicks based on their reply… ?
anyways, a plan is not a resolution setiyo,
Plan: a method for achieving an end b : an often customary method of doing something : PROCEDURE c : a detailed formulation of a program of action
NY Resolution is a commitment
and usually it doesn’t go far…
Maybe, a resolution supported by a plan could do?
To Getu – the Italian Butcher,
How many knives do you need?
“Primo” “Secundo” & “THIRD“? Naturally, I assumed, SecOndo would be followed by “Terzo” or at the very least Contorno – not 3rd. So we can start to feast on Nolawi. Anyways how do you spell 2nd in Italian? Ouch!
Eshi, how does it feel to be the main course? Hang in there Getish, just a few more cuts. Unfortunately, my knife is not as sharp as yours so it may hurt a bit more.
So by your definition, if my boss checks on me regularly, that makes me ACCOUNTABLE? Not b/c I deliver on-time but the mere fact he is checking on me regularly makes me one to be counted on. Really? Wow, such an eye-opening statement begs the question: Where do you work & can I apply there?
You definitely accomplished both w/ your diatribe.
I’m afraid I don’t think highly of your acumen & ability to grasp the big picture.
You have a point here. Nolawi needs to park his a$$ at Starbucks (preferably somewhere near U St) & observe “our natural desires“. Look deep into the habesh Konjits hearts Noli – at least they are my “natural desires”
You win again. Def not spreading hate. I have to agree w/ you there – more like fatuous observations that contribute nothing to the discussion at hand.
As you can see anything can be dissected to pieces. Anyone who wants to, can divert a subject into a meaningless/pointless condemnation – check Fox News for material. I’m not saying don’t disagree but don’t do it just for the sake of a put-down, especially when you have nothing to rebut or contribute.
I say lets start a fund raising so Professore Ricercatore Getu can head up a research on Human Behavior. First subject: To quantify & verify the characteristics of human behavior that leads some to captiousness as oppose to constructive dialog. You can start with yourself as the main subject to save some Lira ($$) as we are a low funded research program.
Arrivederci!
Achew,
If you read carefully, you’ll notice that I indicated that I don’t know how to say third in Italian. There is nothing to dissect there. You probably didn’t have to use your knife there. So to expand on this supposed dialogue, how do you spell it again? ouch
Before the derision I wish you checked the dictionary for what accountable means. You’d have found out that an accountable person is one that’s regularly checked upon. On-time delivery does not add or take away from accountability.
This I’m actually pretty certain of: I couldn’t care less about letting you down!
You know, everything else that you write has nothing to do with calling people on the weakness of their statements. I wish you found something that’s factually wrong in what I wrote and corrected me instead. That would have helped steer this toward an actual dialogue.
Thank you Abyssinia and Macellaio for bringing so much humor to my Monday. Your comments had me rolling in laughter. With the Italian translation and the knife sharpening oh my god hahahahaha I’m gonna die today. Please give us more.
This quote killed me. hahahaha I haven’t laughed this much reading a comment in a long while. People at work now think I’m crying hahahahaha.
I’m not making light of your discussion but this is really funny.
What’s going on here?
Macellaio = Butcher
Getu, because he sharpened his knife…. lol!
This is what I thought
Getu = President of the butcher’s union
Macellaio = Federal regulator of the butcher’s union
Getish nebse:
Actually, dialog & dialogue are the same. Check that DIC of yours. The book not your brain. (But it could have been my Engineering background that subconsciously steered me to the former instead of the commonly used one.)
You know I’m an Ethiopian so I may be a bit out of place w/ my second language – English but where (pls do enlighten us) is accountable defined as “one that’s regularly checked upon???” Besides check the context of it’s usage before you start “thinking out loud w/ sharpened knives”.
At any rate, what you said was “accountable people are regularly checked upon. That’s what makes them accountable.” Your inference here being, the fact they are checked upon regularly makes them accountable. Bullcrap! The fact that you are responsible i.e. deliver on your promise or are designated as the responsible party etc… makes you accountable, not someone’s actions of regularly checking up on you.
I’m also glad you are certain of the fact you could care less about letting me down. Ditto your sentiments!
Anyways, you are making my point: disagree but don’t jump to denounce – which clearly was your intention when you started w/ your “sharpened knives”.
One last request before I sign-off: Can you please publish your lik’wanda b’aet address so we can start sending you the donations for your new research program?
Ciao!
PS I know I make mistakes. Never said otherwise. In fact, that’s my whole point – don’t try to dissect everything. Anything can be dissected & anyone can do it. Just leads to meaningless arguments, which you clearly are demonstrating here. Thanks for proving my point. Now, lets move on… or is it moveon.org.
Elelelelele I feel like doing eskesta to that comment. Whew that was Grrrrrreat!!! (as Tony the tiger would say)
Oh lord, please don’t make any reference to cutting anything because too many sharpened knives floating up in this place lol.
Definitely a great post. I have to admit that I need to say “no” a lot more.
Nice article
It reminds me my favorite quote. “It is not that your plan failed; you failed to plan”
Macellaio “The Butcher”- you are quite the character i must say. you seriously made my day, the most amusing moment i’ve had in quite a while. Firfirrrrr biyalew. a part of me is secretly praying Getu would write some more so this dialog/dialogue continues.
Nolawi – very nice article.
hoho … i don’t think Macellaio is the butcher. the butcher of italiano is getu
Macellaio “The Butcher”- you are quite the character i must say. you seriously made my day, the most amusing moment i’ve had in quite a while. Firfirrrrr biyalew. a part of me is secretly praying Getu would write some more so this dialog/dialogue continues.
He is definitely not “The Butcher”. Our sweet Getu started the sharpening of the knives and was about to go slicing up our Nolawi before Macellaio came to the rescue.
Please come back Macellaio you got some fans waiting for you.
Now where is YekeyDama? I would love to read a dialog/dialogue between YD and Mace.
Macellaio mean butcher in italian… that is why emebet said butcher
but ‘Macellaio’ means butcher in italian, no? whatever the case, dude needs to come back.
Celebrate, I was thinking the same. Yeah, what happen to YD?
Lets hope she will come out of hiding with a nice article.
hahaaaa… ok ok but Macellaio was mocking Getu for his italian …. i think. so where is getu?
Oops didn’t know Macellaio meant butcher. Well he’s far from it for sure.
The discussion between Macellaio and Getu goes back to the point of the article and the question remains “To resolve it or NOT?” We don’t just wanna talk about it but we just wanna do it. Now Getu we need you back bro because Macellaio won’t come out to play unless you do and god knows you two are entertaining us. Come out, come out wherever you are.
I love Bernosians a whole bunch crazy-fun folks.
Abyssinia, add YD to the mix and we may just have the first Abesha sitcom
and we’ll have you as the translator. I cannot believe you went and translated it for him on #10. You are crazy.
Dawitm – Correct. Getu is busy looking up definitions in the imaginary DICtionary and/or scouting locations for the new research center on BS (Behavioral Studies). On second thought, he is at the writing center having his rebuttal checked & translated.
Emebet,Celebratelife – Shy as I may be, how can one resist such prodding? TY! I guess, when the argument starts to digress, the knife wielding maniac vanishes & all my thoughts are exhausted explaining the same thing, I slipped back into the woods to percolate (& maybe even hunt some game for Getu to practice his butchery… ha ha…). Besides, I have this rule (ye’feri rule), to never kick a man when he is down… unless I’m absolutely sure he won’t get back up.
Seriously though, I really didn’t want to get into a tug of war w/ Getu. I just wanted him to realize it doesn’t take much to be captious. That’s all. Perhaps in doing so, I may have confused him more than he tried to confuse us.
Great banter guys…. the only problem I had with all this was, instead of talking about the article (good stuff BTW, Noles), it became about Getu. I have always thought the best way to deal with an insolent child was to just ignore him so he could go away. Who would have thunk serving him his own medicine would achieve a better result.
Nice carving there, Macellaio.
Abyssinia - Our resident Linguist – Grazie Infinite!
Announcement: HSAS Threat Level has been reduced from Orange (HIGH – scared sh^tless by all the cutting & dicing) to Yellow (ELEVATED – perched on the high grounds both morally & physically looking down for any sign of Getu). No more knives in the lounge. Whew…
Back to the original post: I really don’t want to hijack this from the great point Nolawi was trying to make in the article – Just do it! So lets discuss that, shall we? (Kiki thx for refocusing the discussion back to where it should be.) I’ll start: Is a resolution (scheduled sometime in the future) just another crutch/loop-hole for procrastinators on a subconscious level? (Sadly, I’m def the lead member of this group.) Are we cheating ourselves here by not ACTING as soon as we recognize something in our life needs change?
Nolawi, thanks for sharing this with us, this is something to think about. Keep writing…
i am a well known procrastinator, and thus i have chosen never to make any resolutions because they often lead me nowhere. i go through 2 packages of post-its every week, reminders on outlook, cell phones, calendars. i’m beyond help. i often find myself making resolutions that are more attainable to a person in my disposition. i vow to gain 10 pounds, spend more money on useless crap, etc. my reflection on the past year yields some interesting results. ohhh shucks, i only gained 5 pounds. maybe next year…
Kiki,
Primo, Why is insolence an exclusive trait of boys?
Secondo, when a child is insolent you tell them they were so and you teach them how to behave better. They’re a child, they need to be taught how to interact with people. Even children suffering from ADD aren’t supposed to be ignored.
Terzo, notice I may be a fast learner, I’d like to know where your impression of my insolence stems from. I’m assuming you were talking about me here. Is it because I disagreed with what Nolawi said without any derision but by stating why I disagreed? Note that noone came back with a factual argument to indicate where I erred.
Your post is at best incoherent and in the worst case, the likely one here in my opinion, is malicious and hence ignorant.
So then I’m left to wonder what would compel a person to post something like this. The answer that stands out to me is EGO!!
Macellaio,
Since you rather obfuscate the discussion than making a factual argument, I’ll quote the dictionary’s definition of accountable:
accountable == Subject to the obligation to report, explain, or justify something; responsible; answerable.
Nowhere does it say that delivering on your promise makes you accountable. But it does say that you have the obligation to report, or like I put it, you are regularly checked upon. You start your following statement by shouting “Bullcrap” and that is the stamp of approval for everything else that follows that you say as fact. No substantial statement follows this but some jokes are repeated (I have nothing against that); and then boom!
All of sudden I’m down. You declare me down that is. This makes you the debator, the prosecutor, and then the judge. I’d guess the facts should have been laid out and allowed to take their course. Note that, even though it really doesn’t matter, at that point noone else came out and actually agreed with whatever you had to say to me.
Of course, there was one more thing
You remind us that you’re at an elevated moral and physical ground.
Primo, you have no idea how I look physically
Secondo, you repeating the same thing won’t make it fact!!
btw, thanks for the help on counting up to three in Italian.
so then, again, I’m left to wonder what would compel someone to obfuscate a discussion and then declare themselves on higher ground. The same answer comes back. It’s EGO!!
For those of you who’d like to make this about Nolawi’s initial post read back what I had to say about it and say where I may have erred.
Macellaio, you can keep making your jokes (which I’m cool with) and act the fool but I’ll not answer back. I hope you wont be so full of yourself to tell us one more time it’s because you scaled the moral Himalayas.
I’m out of here y’all. Come-on though, grow some spine y’all!!
getu, what the f is wrong with you man? that is the worst comeback attempt
for real, you don’t make sense at all.
I’ve made resolutions here and there and failed miserably with them. If the beginning of the year does not cut it out then i move on to the Monday next week…i follow through for the first couple of weeks and i fail with some. I then lambaste myself for not carrying through with the promises to myself….it used to be a vicious circle.
Now, it’s no more about the New Year’s or the beginning of next month or next week but more about the beginning of when I’m ready! I think failed resolutions are about parts of your life you would like to adjust but deep down you don’t have that gnawing feeling to do so yet. You know shedding 10 pounds won’t be bad but hey if you don’t make it then you can live with it…however, say if you had health complications that required losing those extra pounds, no doubt you will get on it cuz then it’s a matter of survival.
So i say planning to prepare towards achieving something is not a bad idea, but we just have to be selective about our resolutions and make sure the ones we make are things in our life we have made an internal decision to see a change in.
Good article Nolawi,
I have been a reader for several months now but never motivated to post. The article airs the frustration many of us have with family and friends but yet makes sure we shine the mirror on ourselves to make sure we too are not falling into the same mishaps of yesteryear. It is not just an act of accountability but just common courtesy in many respects. I love your Quote thanks for making me smile! Beware the butcher!
Ego Ego Ego… Kiki got an ego, I got an ego… The answer to everything is (drum roll please) Ego! Thx for solving the big Q that has perplexed the world: What is the meaning of life? In the wise words of the EXTREMELY (and I’m stressing the extreme here) perceptive Getu: “The answer that stands out to me is EGO!!”
Well here is what Kiki wrote:
Here is what you originally wrote:
You spliced up some sentences out of the article & formulated the above idiotic confusing proclamation. Could it be, in the euphoria of carving Nolawi’s article, you lost your argument?
Now, you tell me who is “incoherent” & “ignorant”? I’ll let the Bernos community be the judge of that. (Kiki, sorry I didn’t mean to speak for you. Just that he keeps irritating me w/ these absurd statements.)
Since you went to the trouble of posting the definition, can you be kind enough & point us where it states that “accountable people are regularly checked upon. That’s what MAKES them accountable.”??? Pls answer that & not try to side-step the holes in your so called argument.
Once again you fail to see the big picture & context of the WORD’s usage. First of, this was all a joke. Second, I was saying I’m physically on elevated grounds searching for a disoriented chap, so no one is talking about your physical attributes. Interesting w/ all the energy you have devoted on the English dictionary, you seem to lack the ability to comprehend the meaning of these words you profess to know thoroughly, when they are put together. Ouch! I know that must hurt…
BTW I repeated stuff b/c you can’t answer my Qs & that’s why I stated “all my thoughts are exhausted explaining the same thing.”
You demand of us to write things that are “supported by observations & facts” and yet you don’t hold yourself to the same standard. SAD! Al I’m saying is back it up.
“Come-on though, grow some spine y’all!!” – So you can carve me up? Good, I like a fair challenge so I’ll give you a do-over. Here is your chance, make your original argument but be clear about it.
I love, love Macellaio’s humor. Oh my goodness you make my day. Ahhhhh how wonderful it is to laugh so much. Now if Getu was a female I’d say you two hook up because of all the sparks you generate up in this place but instead I say bring it on and give us more.
To get back to the point of the article and answer your Q….
I say yes because everyday we waste on thinking about the changes we need to make but don’t make them is a day wasted. We miss out on the pleasure the change could bring to our life. After all, we thought of making the change for a reason so why not see it thru. Do I do it always no but when I think of something I try and make it happen and if it doesn’t work out then I move on.
Celebratelife – Are you trying to get me killed here? The man has sharpened knives…
FYI: The sparks you are seeing are coming from Getu’s blades as he sharpens the dullness out of his argument. Hopefully, he comes back w/ something substantive.
BTW why are you “yelling” from the side-lines? Take a side & get into the melee… I suspect you wanna see some blood spilled in the arena à la the Romans – who incidentally, started this Resolution business.
hahahaha Macellaio, knives sharpened on wood don’t count only those done on stone make the deepest cut so you have nothing to worry about lol. Please no blood I wanna see guts spilled but no blood. You two are doing great arguing the point and that’s why I’m on the side lines cheering on the one taking the lead by 5 points
Now my plan or resolution for the day is to laugh and so far I’m ahead of the game
I saw this IBM Commercial Yesterday and it said Stop Talking- Just DO!
you can find it here
Sile resolutions , how about resolving to celebrate the small steps that lead to the objective ? Celebrating victory at every battle (not just the war) is absolutely crucial .Lemisalae if you resolve to shed 20 kgs don’t wait till the last gram is scrapped off the wretched scale, every kg counts so give yourself a pat on the back (a one kg lighter back) to draw the strength that will see you through the journey., awage or no awage to the sefiw hizb. You do the same just for not succumbing when ye Inatih be kibae ye rase firfir sifetatenih….man now I’m so hungry !
not a ad idea Fik!
Am I the only one who thinks Getu is Nolawi??? lol If Getu is a real person with a thought like this, well I don’t think AMANUEL is gonna cut it but JESUS enji hahhahha
ps. Nice article still…
test
i am going to get out there on the board?
i read your stuff here tonight for the first time and I am resisting the temptation not to jump in. i love the issues you debate on. keep wrestling.
oppss, hilary clinton talked about “accountability” this weekend and here is the link
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/health/2008/02/11/cohen.sugar.substitutes.mxf.cnn
macellaio & getu, i want you to watch the video and fight it out once again. it’s monday, a little boring at work.
nolawi, i hope you’ve not closed the discussion. perhaps a little more clarity doesn’t heart anyone.
celebratelife, sky, emebet and the rest of us on the sideline also deserve a little more laughter. shrek.
“hurt”
pls forgive my lousy spelling. jeez the link i gave out was wrong one too. please look up for “Virginia listens to Clinton” video on cnn.com
i can’t even get to post the video on this blog.
