I just couldnt stop listening to one of Mikiya Behailu’s songs. It goes by the title “Lante Sil”. Boy, that girl has a serene and captivating voice. Its been a while since i felt since i felt so electrified by an Amharic song..No offense here – i listen to Amharic music quite well.

Ay Nolawi! That is what I like about Bernos! Seriously I’ve never thought or imagined that you’d like Bizuye! May she rest in peace she’s got a wonderful voice and unforgettable songs that would be liked for generations to come. By the way do you have dj Menge’s remix of Bizuye’s song? that one too is great!

i love her i think she is only great female singer but she is not my favorite mine is Menelik wossenachew i was sad this holiday when he died. i don’t know the title of the song but in it she sings about being dumped and says well u moved on and don’t even know i exist anymore that is my favorite song of hers.

I grew up listening to Bizunesh songs. The Sunday PM zefen mercha programs were one of my favorite ones. Few years before she passed away, I have even saw her singing on stage. She is for sure a different cut, and I loved her. Listening to her songs now even after all these years is a refreshing experience. Each and every of her songs for me are masterpieces. I am always curious to know though who the song writers, composers, etc. are. One thing that breaks my heart is the fact that she died poor, materially.
