angel my qit 57 Comments

angel melaku

I was recently in a conversation in which 3 guys were present and on hot chick per say. Snobby little girl says that the power god gave to women is amazing. The things she can make a man do for her just by asking.

I was thinking what a complete “superficial snobby little girl;” sure she is hot but so what. Who give a shit?

A DC abesha girl named Angel Melaku aka Lola luv is making the hip hop round these days asserting her claim to fame; an ass to die for.

Don’t get me wrong; I love nice Qit as much as any black man. And I am glad she is maximizing her assets, no pun intended.

But the arrogance is so annoying that instead liking her for what she is doing I despise her.

Read a bio I read on her myspace page.

for those who don’t understand coded female proportions, allow me to clarify. The cup size is D. The waist, measuring in at 22 inches, is crazy enough, but when you factor in that it’s partnered with a size-40 bass line, you’ve just reached religious regions. If you’ve only seen numbers move like this on Wonder Showzen, then you’ll probably label the approaching statement cliché, but this type of proportion can only be a product of heaven. Angel is her name (told you!). Well, it’s actually her nickname and her last name. Sort of. (Born in Ethiopia to a native mom and a Trinidadian Dad, her last name, Melaku, means angel in Amharic, a language spoken in her native country.) But the point is she might be the most irresistible female you’ve ever seen in your life. “I’ve needed a bodyguard way before I was anybody,” says Washington D.C.’s best national offering. “Sometimes [the attention] gets irritating. There are certain things I can’t do because guys just won’t let me be. I can’t even go to the club.” Angel can’t go to the club because she’s a kidnapped-till-the-cops-come-knockin’ target on any given morning, noon or night. Think 2007 Lola Falana with flesh luscious enough to break faith and morality with a single snap. At only 19, the walking seduction is currently taking over the video scene.

Nice Ass but come’on, religious regions. Before she was famous she needed a body guard because her ass is so big. Give me a break! How superficial can one get?

Here is a video interview:

What kinda name is Angel Melaku anyways, they named her twice in different languages. Its kinda lame.

Take it easy Bro, she is just trying to survive, like everyone. I believe everyone is born with a gift, it’s all about how we use that gift.. Consequently she is using her gift very well. After all its her only asset.
As long as she gets paid and not played, I wish her Qit, long life.

I was thinking what a complete “superficial snobby little girl;” sure she is hot but so what. Who give a shit?

Apparently a lot of men give a shit cause she is sellings magazines, able to land video roles, she is the first woman to be named something (eye candy?) of the year twice in a row, etc etc. so it is safe to say enough men (and possibly also women) are giving a shit. In fact, even you are giving a shit so much so that you have been motivated to write this article.
As far as labeling her a “superficial snobby little girl” – depends on who you normally call snobby but I think it is hard to pass such a judgment on her on a personal level (unless you have chilled with her on a personal level)

Don’t get me wrong; I love nice Qit as much as any black man. And I am glad she is maximizing her assets, no pun intended.

But the arrogance is so annoying that instead liking her for what she is doing I despise her.

you are probbaly reading too much into her, she is out there on a professional level doin what she is doin’, she is modeling her body. so just enjoy lookin at her Qit, and just leave her at that. Also, she is only 19, give her a break. She sounds like a kid tryin to do her best to come up on her video interview.

Nice Ass but come’on, religious regions. Before she was famous she needed a body guard because her ass is so big. Give me a break! How superficial can one get?

you don’t know her neighbourhood and what kinda clubs she was going. maybe she really did need dudes to watch her back (no pun intended). Besides, a lot of this is marketing. It’s part of the biz. How is someone gonna forget a girl who supposidly needed a body guard to guard her Qit? remember when J-Lo insured her Qit for a billion dollars and that made so much news, and i’m sure that eventually meant $$??

What kinda name is Angel Melaku anyways, they named her twice in different languages. Its kinda lame.

I agree with you on that, that is kinda lame. lol. I don’t know how much in touch she is with her ethio side tho’. She is only half abesha anyways, am suprised why she even took on her mom’s abesha last name.

God damn it! I am just shocked. It took me 20 minutes just to move my hands so i could comment on this post. As i type this i have a draft post which i did on “Angel” to post on my blog.

I agree with ya. My post was to blow her out of the water. I think she is obnoxious, bitchy and confused about her culture ( and that is if she really knows her Ethiopian culture).

Obviously, life is more than video shoots and magazine covers, and i hope she gets it quick enough to move on to other life altering causes. For example, she could learn a lot from Liya Kebede than she ever could Busta Rhymes or Tony Yayo.

It is laughable that she throws the Ethiopian thing every chance she gets. I mean c’mon. I am not a hater, not anywhere close to it. But i think she looks more from Trinidad than she does from Ethiopia, doesn’t she?

I think she could leverage her recently attained fame to so many issues that needs discussing.

Anyway, who cares? I wish her all the best and i hope she would one day imitate the likes of Liya Kebede.

    Enough Said on Ms. Ass.

Come on guys, the girl is only making money. If people are willing to pay her to shake her fake boobs and ass why not? She has only got a minute of fame let her get what she can out of it. The interview is pretty funny though, bless her heart she doesn’t even know what kind of music she is coming out with.

  8. 8 The Debater

Mena, I soo agree with everything you said. The poor girl is just tryin to do her thang and ppl seem to be hatin on her a lil too much. It’s obvious she def got the hood in her, and c’mon, it is what it is. She probably did not grow up like Liya Kebede, therefore she is not Liya Kebede.

Dr Ethiopia (and original blogger), i hope you won’t take any of what I am about to say personal and this is all in good sport. And with that said, I’m a have to set you straight!

I agree with ya. My post was to blow her out of the water. I think she is obnoxious, bitchy and confused about her culture ( and that is if she really knows her Ethiopian culture).

she is confused about her culture but you then you quesiton if she knows her Ethiopian culture or not? Well, if she doesn’t know her Ethiopian culture, then she can’t be confused about it, would she? Just cause her mother is ethiopian, doesn’t mean she has to fit your definition of how an ethiopian girl needs to act. This girl seems like a young girl of the hiphop generation who is born and raised in DC, so in that sense she seems to be fairly true and honest to her culture.

Obviously, life is more than video shoots and magazine covers, and i hope she gets it quick enough to move on to other life altering causes. For example, she could learn a lot from Liya Kebede than she ever could Busta Rhymes or Tony Yayo.

Life is more than video shoots and magazine covers but how about giving the girl a chance to first live through the life of videos/magazines, experience shit for herself, learn from whatever mistakes she is bound to make like everyone else before pressuring her to look beyond it. One needs to get there first before one can see beyond it. And comparing what she can learn from Liya Kenede and Busta Rhymes/Tony yayo is a bad comparison cause Liya is in the fashion world and the other two are hiphop artists. I guess it would depend on what she is gonna learn, right? If she wants to learn about the fashion world, she is best to learn that from Liya, but when it comes to the hiphop music industry I think busta rhymes and yayo may have more to teach her than Liya, don’t you think?

It is laughable that she throws the Ethiopian thing every chance she gets. I mean c’mon. I am not a hater, not anywhere close to it. But i think she looks more from Trinidad than she does from Ethiopia, doesn’t she?

I don’t know what you mean by her throwin the ethiopian thing every chance she gets and I did not get that from the interview posted here. What did she say, and was it an observation you have from somewhere else? But whatever it was she said, doesn’t she have a certain entitlment to use “ethiopan thing” (name? i guess), cause she does have a degree of birth right?? Her mom IS Ethiopian.
I suspect you may just be saying this cause she may not fit to a certain ideal you may have about what an ethiopian woman (even half ethiopian? . . . anyone who has ethio name?) ought to be. I think you are right however, she does have strong features from her Trinidad side – and I think the combination is what makes her even finer. I say Best of both worlds, baby.

I think she could leverage her recently attained fame to so many issues that needs discussing.

Girl is only 19, let her stand on her feet first before expecting her to adpot poor orphan kids from Africa and Asia. I frankly don’t think she has the celebraty power now to expect sometihng like that from her YET. Give her a few more years atleast : )

Anyway, who cares? I wish her all the best and i hope she would one day imitate the likes of Liya Kebede

yeap, it’s good to wish her the best and although Liya Kebede is a great person to look up to, I hope she imitates no one and stays true to herself and does her.

Ironically, I think the underlyin tone of your response and that of the original blogger exhibited more snobishness than what she is accused of having.

  9. 9 Confused

Oh my Jessica Rabbit is well and alive and not a cartoon. …

Liya Kebede is a clothes fashion and potograph model as well as humanitarian in the making, this girl is a “glamour model” like we call girls who model their body parts as a product for a specific market, mostly male.

Liya sells clothes and make up and bags and a lifestyle not sure what Angel sells maybe the shirt she is not wearing in the photo but they dont compare. I feel proud when I see photos of Liya even though her job isnt the most important or useful in the world nevertheless she is using her fame as a platform to do something more serious than modelling seeing Angel makes me wanna hide my face, even though I beleive in live and let live and hesitate to judge her or anyone else….I hope the skin industry doesnt chew her and spit her out after using her, having chosen to work in that industry I hope she is smart enough not to be exploited..

  11. 11 Xana

“She could learn a lot from Liya Kebede”

Dr Ethiopia. Come on you are a bet harsh on the poor girl!

The difference between the two is, one is wed to a rich man, with a good certainty in life and is greatly admired by rich white bankers who believe that they are more cultured then the “others”.

While on the other hand Miss Qit, has to sleep with stupid make-believe thugs and gangster to safeguard her future and keep on anticipating that one day she will get a chance to be a movie or a TV star…..

Until then, Long live the Qit……

  12. 12 Nolawi

hey i am not trying to compare her to a super model.. she is a video girl and its perfectly respectable profession.

the only thing i said was that she is a little snobby…

  13. 13 ÜberMan

Man all this hoopla just for a Quit… I can see its huge but come on now. Wow!

BTW they are both peddling the same things people – just to different venues. Thats all. Give the up and comer a break & lets not make Mrs. Kebede a saint. All the movies I’ve seen her in is as a hooker or a slut.

Lilye – Don’t be jealous. Not everyone is into silicon no matter how plump they look. After all, looks can only go so far. The touch is where its @. Just my opinion.

Dr. Ethiopia – Time to renew those Bifocals. She looks 100% Ethiopian/Eritrean.

Xana – No proof the Qit has been tapped & ponded by thugs & gangsters. Even if it has, that is just part of the business. Who knows who Liya slept with to get to the top echelon on the modeling industry. At any rate, I 2nd the notion – “Vive l’Qit” Indeed.

  14. 14 Lily

Heeeey… no need to trash Liya… She’s way above this type of girl you’re blogging about. And it’s not about being married to a rich man (if that were the case, how do you explain Kimora Lee?) You either have class or you don’t, period. And clearly this girl (above) has none. But, I agree with The Debater that “apparently a lot of men give a shit cause she is sellings magazines, etc.” Men are to blame for all this CRAP!!! ;-)

  15. 15 Xana

What has class got to do with it?

Liya on the cover of Vogue and our Miss Qit on “Blackman”. Can someone enlighten me on the difference between these two trashy Magazines?
Liya makes more money then Miss Qit’s Mag, because it has wide distribution and promotes the values of dimwitted Middle Class.
It’s a bet to insensitive to put Miss Qit down because she is making less money then Liya. Would you say the same thing if Miss Qit was on the cover of Vogue and had been wed to a rich banker? At the end of the day both girls are models, unfortunately one is bless with a fine Qit and the other with a rich husband who can pull strings without any effort.
Sorry for being harsh on Liya, I don’t mean it. I know that Liya is a hard working mother with good intentions and above all she loves her country and has helped people I know. I have total esteem for what she stands for. However it’s just that there are lots of girls like Angel who are forced to go through Rough Avenue’s, to get what they want. And most don’t make it. Therefore I have some empathy for Miss Qit.

    Long live the Qit…..

  16. 16 spacefog

I don’t undetstand how you guys miss the class between Liya and the fat behind. Its like the diffrence between selling things using your body and selling your body.Or the diffrence between the devinity we put in sex with some one you care about and sex with a pro.

hm … just a few points:
    1. she is 19. most 19 year olds i know don’t exactly have a grasp on “the bigger picture” to be scrutinizing their role models.
    2. none of you folks really know her personally enough to be making judgment calls on her “culture” or upbringing. so ease up on the youngin a little bit.
    3. so she shakes her ass in music videos. bite me! there’s a million and one women every weekend doing the same shit, in the skimpy outfits, to the same music at every club in the country. and they’re doing it for free. so if homegirl chooses to capitalize on her assets, let her.
    4. yes, commercial music for the most part has degenerated into an icky exercise in misogyny and objectification. and clearly, she seems to have understood that that’s the “bullshit” that comes with the “industry.”
    5. hypocrisy: when the only time your morality shimmies up to the top happens to be in situations where fellow countrymen/countrywomen are involved, as opposed to any other human being … well, i find that slightly (well, not slightly … a whole lot, actually) disconcerting.

    slat /slæt/

    1. a long thin, narrow strip of wood, metal, etc., used as a support for a bed, as one of the horizontal laths of a Venetian blind, etc.
    2. Aeronautics. a control surface along the leading edge of a wing that can be extended forward to create a gap (slot) to improve airflow.

Try being classy not trashy Put on some damn clothes. Few years from now, when your boobs travel down south, your mekemecha is sagging and you need an iron to unwrinkle those lines of aging … Having SUBSTANCE wrapped in the beautiful body much more important…Get it down plain.

  29. 29 Confused

Abraham, being classy or trashy is like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder I think..

I thought this was about Angel Melaku’s job and not her person or her morality or class?….sometimes people are not their jobs, unless we know them personally how can anyone tell and base a fair judgement on the performance they put on for that job which is looks an performance based?….

I dislike more a society that makes a young girl of 19 think it is best and quicker to become a video girl than say, an architect or a doctor or a sculptor, lawyer or poet or even a fashion model,in order to become succesful, five minutes or in some cases ten years and hard work to become succesful, which one of those professions are glamourised to young girls? and which ones are easily and quickly easily rewarded with quick riches?…I am not moralistic about her, she might be exploiting human nature or she might be exploited by it, either way she is not the only one and she hasnt crawled out of a rock, she is a product of the environment that she lives in, and it is no good moralising about people or their jobs without putting into context the broader social influences on their lives….

About Liya Kebede, hasnt she been modelling and in every magazine and fashion campaigns for at least ten years now? I thought she was already rich when she married the rich banker…

  30. 30 Dinich

    Confused,

With all due respect for your smart self, I find your line…people are not their jobs to be a little shaky (sort of unlike the normal confused). I think especially in America, the land of opportunities, more or less people are their jobs. If somoene is willing to sell their body, that should say something about the person.

we can blame it on society and I understand that. But, that shouldn’t replace personal responsibility….Even the age can’t be an excuse. 19 is not 2. 19 is ten plus nine.

  31. 31 Konjit

Liya was nobody before she got married to the rich banker who is twice her age. (just a skinny model wanna be). get your facts straight. Both this girl and Liya are doing the same thing using their body image to make money. So why praise one and condemn the other?

  32. 32 Confused

    Hi Dinich…

I think I might not have made myself very clear.

I was not absolving Ms Melaku of personal responsibility or taste that is why on the first comment I made about her I used the sentence “having chosen to work in that industry I hope she is smart enough not to get exploited” so I know that she has a choice to exercise and short of knowing for certain that she is being coerced in shedding her clothes for her job I can only assume that she has chosen it and 19 is old enough to know the advantages and the pitfalls of that choice.

As for my phrase people are sometimes not their jobs it is true in some cases and I just dont mean for girls who work in the skin industry, it can be true of many other people, the brave ones are the ones that eventually choose to go their way in a profession which is more in tune with their convictions, their values and their personalities.

So if we are moralising about Angel, what about the industry that has spawn her and other girls? shouldnt we moralise about them too? arent they the mysogynistic ones selling the notion that being a stripper is a success to young impressionable girls?..and she might be 19 and not 2 now but I dont think she has one morning woken up and said “I know this is what I am gonna do for the rest of my life take my clothes off so I can be ogled by all and sundry as live entertainment” ,..and isnt it there a market for it too?, that market should take some responsability in creating girls like Angel and to me it is the sleaze dream merchant makers and their markets who help in dehumanising women in general and women like Angel in particular that I reserve most of my contempt for and in a serious way I think this is about values and choices…I dont live in the US but I live in a country where it is easier to open a stripping club or a gambling den than say an arts centre, we have rejected the gambling den thank God but the others flourish…now what is that all about?..it cant just be about the girls can it?, for a start they neither have the money nor the kudos to do any of those things…so who should we blame now?….

  33. 33 Mamitu

    Come on Konjit,

Someone who is modeling for Gucci is hardly a model wanna be. Liya was a successful person on her own right even before she married her husband. As for marrying a man twice her age, isn’t that what Ethiopian women have done for centuries? If you want to read more about her:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liya_Kebede

And for the sake of comparison with Angel read here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_melaku

  34. 34 Konjit

Before she married or had a baby with her husband (cause she was with him and had a kid from him before she married him) she was working at an Ethiopian Restaurant as a Waitress in Chicago and was a Model wanna be (meaning trying to be one). Her luck changed when she married the Banker and moved to NYC.. there she had a good backup and connections through her hubby. her being spotted by a french reporter and stuff is a little made up story. I know her well enough to be able to tell you that.
If this little angel girl becomes famous or what not you guys will not be condemning her as much. everyone has to start somwhere.

  35. 35 Tsedey

I completely agree with Confused. The society and particularly men should also take responsibility in trashing women in hip hop videos and displaying them as nothing more than a sex object. When was the last time we saw entertaining black female dancers or talented females in hip hop viedeos… I honestly don’t remember cos all we see is big boobs and booties. Now, if one aspires to get in to this industry, they realize that to excel, they need a boob job or a butt implant.. I think that’s exactly what Angel did. So, why only blame her not the society esp. black men. Cos I know most non-black men are not fans of curvilicious bodies.

On the other hand, I don’t understand why Liya’s name is brought up here. Do we always have to compare her with any Ethiopian model that comes up in the media flare? Why don’t we allow individuality? Why does any model should be comopared with another one? We all have different features, goals, talents and markets.

Last but not least, why do we always put a woman’s success attributed to the man behind her but not vice versa. It’s insanely aching to hear that “Liya is successful because she’s married to a rich man twice older than her age”. Does he walk in the runway for her? Does he sign the contracts for her? A husband’s help can only go so far. And even to marry and stay with whether a rich or a poor husband is an art and wisdom by itself let alone to have kids and wear many hats…have some respect and empathy before bringing up pple’s names for comparison.

Am as curious as Grand Ma to know why colored men are so into huge bootays?

  36. 36 sosina

konjit, nefse, complex-ish tenchachabish aydel? How can you even compare Liya to this hoe.

    1) You clearly don’t know liya because if you did, you’d know she first went to paris and had a hard time getting any traction within the modeling world after meeting the photographer. She moved to chicago because her family lived there and she was a working model there, albeit for sears catalog etc… but if you knew anything about these professions (acting, modeling etc..) you’d know that most of them work as waiters/waitresses as they start out because it allows for a flexible schedule to attend castings and go sees.

    2) She met him in Addis. On vacation. She was working as she met him. clearly they helped each other but to make it sound like he was her meal ticket is totally ignorant and you clearly have no idea about who either one is other than ye buna wore that you picked up.

    3) Don’t hate. kemir. ayamribishim.

Now on to miss angel lola minamin. That clearly is not a real ass. Hope that silicone doesn’t migrate down to the back of her knees one of these days. But hey, she’s doing her thing. Good luck to her. hoes need to eat too…so do you honey

  37. 37 Grand Ma

    Abraham,
she’s covered! at least, on the cover. Can’t you see it? I thought, this’s a typical dress code for many girls in her age group. Stop staring at her and un-dressing her :=)

  38. 38 wudnesh

    LOL @#24!
Konjit, inde min necash! you are comparing apples with oranges eko! This actually proves that money can’t buy CLASS! Liya has class but miss angel doesn’t! I understand she is only 19, but Liya was just a few years older when she started modeling.
Also, after your comment on #34, all I can say to you is ‘you lie!’. I know the couple well enough to say , in sosina’s words, “complex-ish tenchachabish.”

  39. 39 lili

Melaku girl is not a model she is a freak. But she is real. she doesn’t speak
fake stories that make no sense. Just because she is not a supermodel she doesn’t deserve to be trashed.
    I agree with Konjit.
i know people always say liya liya oh she is great. But i think Liya is a complete phony and fake. She always tells fake stories to the press.
When she first started out she told the press her husband was a childhood friend.
Ha ha come on now. He looks old enough to be your dad. Then the lies and fake stories continued after she got bigger and bigger. On a women’s magazine she was like” when i was pregnant at 22 i freaked because In Ethiopia pregnant women always die” then my husband helped he said” nobody dies here”. Ha i laughed so hard at that.
i was like come on u freaked coz that old man knocked up up before you had a chance to make it in modeling. She needs to stop scapegoating Ethiopia for her unplanned pregnancy. I don’t care what she is she is just a phony. I wish she was a great supermodel like Iman always real. Iman never scapegoat Somalia. She respected Somalia unlike our girl liya who trashes her steping stone Ethiopia. Peace out.

Please, please, ppl leave Liya alone.
I’ve no idea how her name sneaked in to this topic discussion. Ethiopia need more of Liya’s. We all need to learn from her work of didcation to poor children with HIV/ without, neglected and her involvement with maternal health in poor countries. Ask yourself agin, how many of us giving time or people who got money voluntering and help the poor. You won’t find many in Ethiopian society. Liya is a true humnaitarian and God bless her.

Grand Ma – She got in the mix b/c we are comparing two models. Simple as that! Why everyone wants to make Liya into mother Theresa is beyond me. When you strip all the fluff & categorization – they are both in the business of selling sex. What makes Qi’t Angle a ho & Liya a hero? Who knows Angel may have her own humanitarian endeavors as well. Is there a big difference b/w a street walker & a high-end escort? Yeah – the rate! Not saying they are escorts, just making an analogy. I have nothing against what they do – more power to them. Just don’t fool yourselves w/ the idea that one profession is holier than the other.

    Sosina:

    1) You clearly don’t know liya…

    3) Don’t hate. kemir. ayamribishim.

    hoes need to eat too…

Fine but do you know Qi’T Angel? Why you calling her a ho’? In the words of a wise fool, “kemir. ayamribishim!”

This girl came up in a conversation with some friends. My youtube junkie friend points out that she has had plenty of medical enhancements to her qit and oranges and dental. There is a before video out there. I couldn’t tell the before from the after qit, but the above waistline works are clearly obvious. She went from that beautyful girl we all know who does not comfortably smile thinking she is hiding her ‘defect’ to a goddess straight out of Homer’s adventure. I personally love a woman with some detectable fault but wears it comfortably. I find the faults of fantacy evermore plenty. However, her video clips, the soft porn that they are, do turn me into a stone….

  44. 44 Anon

Yea this girl wants you to judge her, if you will, on the basis of her body, what she has put the most work into. Her mind? Why care if she does not care?

  45. 45 Doro Mata

    I like her ass.

  46. 46 Hidaya

I saw a video where Ms looks remarkably different and was a bit younger and her face is softer and prettier…the dental and oranges have been surgerised, cant really tell about the qit, it looks the same little mountain it is in the before and after pictures both.

  47. 47 selam

who the hell cares. yes, she is fake all over, dental, hair, boobs, ki etc. lets all get over it.there are better things to talk about. all that hipe for this woman, \????????? p-l-e-a-s-e

The way I see it, there is no job as “not important” as confused mentioned on her comment. I believe every job is very important since u getting money out of it or benefit you doing that job. I support Angel in anyway. She is trying to make a leaving. She is blessed with a beautiful face, beautiful shape and of course an amazing Qit. So why not make money out of it than just sit on it 8-16 hrs a day. In my opinion there is no job, be it an office job or a modeling job, their main idea of hiring u is to exploit (use) you. talent or whatever u have to give to the job that benefits them. In any job after using u for a few years, they will get rid of u. but before it happens, it is up to u to make a move and do some things on the side so that u will have something to fall back on the rainy days. And Angel is doing her thing, she has so many things going for her and god bless her.

  49. 49 mena

Speaking of angel, I saw this ( http://www.atlnightspots.com/?p=2940 ) picture of her and it made me laugh… can you caption it?

  50. 50 John

    Shame on her!!!

I dunno when it comes to this girl I have mixed feelings I think shes quite brave as in shes comfortable to be using her sexuality ie to make money or
isnt afraid to show it off as our culture kind of makes girls hide their sexuality and if they show it off they are labelled as priostitutes or loose women. But really there is nothing wrong with being sexual and I suppose she is a feminist in that way as shes Ethiopian and shes brave enough to break out of that mold that boring image of us being saintley naive dumb bimbos that dont know anything about sex. But there is a thin line between using your sexuality to be proud to express her self and the corrupt side of it all, she needs to strike a balance as shes feeding into mens view that all women are there for one thing. When she started doing porn films thats stooping too low for my likings and shes shouldnt be proud of that as that road is a dangerous road and girls need to know that its not cool infact most woman no matter how much money they make ar ealmost selling their souls to the devil. She should have just stuck to toppless modelling, im sure she will regret being a porn star.

  52. 52 Nolawi

so i got a thnk you email from angel melaku..

thnk u for the plug to the habesha community.

    that is all she said!

  53. 53 DNL

Hehehe… She’s doing something right cause she got all of you talking about her. You go girl! Sell you Qit, your teeth, your oranges…sh*t sell what you can sell. As long as she doesn’t come upto me and ask me to sell my Qit, then who am I to complain. She really is none of out biz!!!

  54. 54 Arbegnaw

hey guys c’mon leave that girl cause if u r ethiopian u gotta have 2 represent you’re country by any means and any chance u get obivously angel isn’t doin her thing, maybe she grow with that American way of life being and acting like HOE, so for me she don’t even desserve to be or to say she from Ethiopia, her moma didn’t do her job well, anyhow who gives fuck bout that bitch.

  55. 55 Tewabech

The one thing everybody knows as a fact is that anything incluging part of the GDP, loan, aid etc in an African country ends up in the hand of the dictators and their families. After reading these postings I can’t stop asking whether Liya’s husband is one of those who happen to be close enough to our dictators? if not how can an Ethiopian banker becames rich so much so he can be considered rich here in us too.

  56. 56 Tewabech

Sosina nefse, You are clueless! complexish tenchachabish aydel because others seemed to win the debate with facts. What exactly do you know about modeling/ models that we donot know

you’d know that most of them work as
    waiters/waitresses as they start out
because it allows for a flexible
schedule to attend castings and go
    sees.

Sosina, nebsie next time if you do not have the statistics to backup your stupid conclusions please do not worry to comment. Do You often recklessly plug inaccurate factual statement just to win an argument? By the way did you notice that after rammbling saying that you have insider knowledge about Liya and her husband, you failed to tell as what you personally know. Discussions regarding your idols are not equivalent to hate. If you really want to know what hate is, I would have to refer you to Meles Zenawi- your 20 years ultimate dictator. Angles ass may not be real but you are a real dumb ass.
