You know what it reminds me of is this painting I saw at the National Gallery of Art in DC, man oh man it was incredible. It was called the 'Voyage of life' by T Cole. It's about the child-youth-adult-oldage phases of life. When I read your poetry that is the first thing that came to my mind. If you haven't already seen it and if you live in the DC area or get a chance to visit check it out. I think you'll find it very interesting.
