Over the past year my interest in the running sport has matured, although my knowledge about Ethiopian runners is antiquated. I had an interesting conversation with a young Ethiopian that knows so much about the sport. I was so impressed with how much info he had. Ya, we all know Haile is great, but do you know who Deriba Merga & Dure Tune are?

Yes, I could sign up for Google to email me the news, but what I’m interested in is the discussions. Who’s on the come up and who’s on the come down? What are the chances that an Ethiopian will win this weekend? Who is injured and who is not?

Those are the type of discussions I would like to part of. Thus, in the name of knowledge and support for Ethiopian runners; I have as of 10 minutes ago started an email discussion group.

I don’t care if there are five people or fifty; the goal here is to have quality over quantity. I do receive too many emails thus I’m not interested in receiving & sending news links, only discussions.
